About the company

They connect their customer's solar to approved energy storage products and trade this energy through their artificial intelligent software and utility. This means they can pass the savings and earnings back to their customers, resulting in an electricity bill that's up to 70% cheaper.

Energy costs can spiral out of control, but by installing solar, energy storage and driving electric vehicles…the revolution can begin.

The company are enabling that revolution by providing a platform that allows homes to trade and swap energy, removing the need for traditional utilities, putting the power back in the hands of the people and in the process reducing their energy bills by up to 70%.

About the role

As a brand-new business the Technical Trading Analyst will be one of the very first employees trusted to build and shape exactly how the company operates. A critical part of any energy company is its ability to trade electricity and gas, and this is a unique role in the energy utilities space. As the business model hinges on artificial intelligence of their storage portfolio, automated trading (algo trading) is a key part of this. They are wanting a technically minded, highly analytical individual to develop and operate their automated trading activity, as well as taking care of the main analytical functions of the trading team.

As the industry constantly changes, the role will be working closely with the Commercial Director, Regulation & Compliance Analyst, and the team of AI battery system developers to deliver an automated way to maximise the commercial benefit to the company and its customers, through the various revenue streams available.
